Lovely crops and warm conversations were shared today at our last gathering of the year. Rain did not deter several new crop swappers from coming to share parsley, bay leaves, tomato & eggplant seedlings, heritage seeds, homegrown eggs, and a wonderful selection of herbal and medicinal seedlings. The Taupiri School community garden contributed two large cucumbers and fresh lettuce for some swappers to take home.

Several attendees found out about the swap thru the local newspaper, the Chatter. Remember that you can also sign up to our email list here here for reminders and updates. Our next swap is 7th of January. See you there!

Produce lined up on table surrounded by swappers, photobombed by young boy. Our youngest crop swapper photobombed the picture but we thought you would enjoy it.
